The origin of the name of the Nhan tower in Phu Yen.
The origin of Nhan tower in Phu Yen has many legends. After the fairy returned to the fairy realm, the people of Champa, out of compassion and want to inscribe the merits of the person who enlightened their nation, built that tower to worship.
According to another legend, from ancient times, Tuy Hoa was just a low-lying swamp with many sea monsters that disturbed the lives of local people. Seeing this, God ordered the giant to come down and carry the earth to fill the lowlands, protecting the lives of the people. However, when the filling was almost finished, the giant rushed back, so he gave more stones to break the pole. Rocks from the two burdens fell to form Chop Chai mountain and Nhan mountain.

In the past, although there was no cement to bind bricks, the Champa people knew how to use the adhesive from the oleander tree to use in construction. However, the formula to create a strong glue that can connect the materials of the whole tower is still a great invention of the ancient Champa people, but until now, scientists still have no words. prize.
In addition, for the bricks to stick together so firmly not only because of the above glue mixture but also thanks to the extremely skillful hands of the builders. The bricks are grinded by the craftsman using the concave grinding technique, that is, after applying glue, they will grind the bricks together until the contact surface is completely sealed without revealing any gaps.
The roof of the tower is about 8.5m high, the four corners are the pillars that look like lotus buds, the highest part is the large monolithic stone symbol of Linga. From this place, you can have a panoramic view of Tuy Hoa city, the coast with fine golden sands and the Hung Vuong bridge spanning the mouth of the Da Rang river. In 2018, Nhan Tower was ranked as a special national monument.
The architecture above the roof is seen from the inside of the tower with bricks built in a square shape, clustered at the top of the tower. The main face and door of the tower face the East, the remaining walls are decorated with patterns associated with ancient religious concepts. Because of the narrower construction characteristics of the higher floors, the inner wall of the tower also bends and shrinks, the arches follow a pyramidal shape and connect at the last brick.
Going deep inside, you may be surprised to see that there are no altars or statues inside, only a small temple built in the Late Le Dynasty to smoke incense for the Lord Thiet A Summit. Na Dien Ngoc Phi. Around the wall, there are intricately carved dragon patterns on marble placed at the 4 corners of the tower. Do not look from the inside to the top of the tower, you will see a deep and mysterious space
The tower body and base are built in a square shape, representing the ground. At the base of the tower, each row of bricks above is placed backward compared to the row below, thus gradually shrinking and clinging to the body.
The tower body is about 9.3m high, 10.5m wide. The wall is built vertically, with pillars at four corners, creating convex and convex edges on the back and side. The body of the tower is the connection between the base and the roof to represent the thought of heaven - earth - man.
